On December 2, 2023, the 3rd Understanding China·“China in the Eyes of the Young Generation”international short videos screening & award presenting ceremony was successfully held at the Yuexiu International Congress Centre in Guangzhou， China. The event was a jointly put together by CIIDS, National Geographic, School of Art and Communication of Beijing Normal University, WWW.docuchina.cn, DOC China, and Yangjilu of CCTV.com. Since the event’s inception, great store has been firmly set by bringing into full play the role of the younger generation, vanguards of the spirit of the times, in telling China’s stories to the outside world through showcasing to great advantage the charms of the Chinese culture captured in the form of short videos. The event aspires to serve as a bridge connecting the Chinese and international cultures for exchanges and mutual learning, hence adding to the grandeur and glamour of the Chinese civilization in the global arena.
