The Understanding China "China in the Eyes of the Young" international short videos colection and screening event is another proud brainchild of CllDS that takes place during the yearly Understanding China Conference. Since its inception, the event has firmly placed its focus on bringing into full play the role of the younger generation as vanguards of the spirit of the times in teling China's stories to the global audiences and presenting to them the charms of the Chinese culture via short videos.The event has received over a thousand contributions by the younger generation across the globe throughout its three previous editions Closely relevant to the present day, these video works have promoted a credible, lovable, and respectable image of China in the intemational community.
