Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 25 (Reporter Bai Jie) - President Xi Jinping met with international delegates attending the 2019 Understanding China Conference at the Great Hall of the People on the 25th and took a group photo with them. Xi Jinping hoped that they would strengthen exchanges with China, truly “understand China”, and effectively enhance mutual understanding and perception between China and foreign countries.

Yang Jiechi, Wang Yi and others participated in the above activities.The Understanding China Conference is co-sponsored by the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy, the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, and the 21st Century Council, and has been successfully held for three sessions. The theme of this year’s conference is “A New Round of Economic Globalization and China's Reform and Opening Up Re-Starting”. More than 30 world-renowned politicians, strategists, scholars and entrepreneurs attended the conference.
